In-Home Pet Quality of Life Consultation
A pet quality of life assessment is a comprehensive evaluation by a veterinarian used to gauge various aspects of your pet's well-being and overall happiness. It involves considering multiple factors to ensure that your pet is leading a fulfilling and comfortable life. The veterinarian travels to your home to evaluate multiple elements of your pet's life such as physical health, mental and emotional well-being, nutrition, activity level, living environment, and social interaction. A quality of life assessment helps owners to make an informed decision about their pet's wellbeing and final care.
In-Home Pet Euthanasia
Euthanasia is the humane way to help a pet pass away in a painless, peaceful manner due to serious illness or injury, age related changes, or quality of life concerns. In-home euthanasia is chosen by pet owners who want to provide a more comfortable and familiar surrounding for their pet's final moments. This approach can be less stressful for both the pet and the family, allowing them to say goodbye in a peaceful and private environment. At Companion Crossroads, we honor the bond between you and your companion, providing a compassionate option during this difficult time.
Aftercare
At Companion Crossroads, we understand that saying goodbye to a cherished pet is a profound and emotional experience. As part of our commitment to compassionate care, we have partnered with a local crematorium offering a range of aftercare options including general cremation, private cremation with personalized urns, and customized memorialization products to help you honor your pet's memory in a way that aligns with your family's wishes. The veterinarian will provide transport to the crematorium and will arrange for return of cremains if desired.
