Fees and Payment

Client agrees to pay Companion Crossroads all fees associated with at home pet euthanasia and consultation services including any additional charges for after-hours services, surcharge travel fees, and/or other relevant factors.

Companion Crossroads will provide an estimate prior to services and final invoice at the time of service.

Payment for invoice is due in full at the time of service and can be made via cash, credit card (proce
ssed via Square), Zelle, or personal check.

Required Deposit

To ensure the efficient scheduling of our mobile services and to better serve our clients, we have implemented a nominal scheduling deposit of $50. This deposit will be applied towards the total cost of the in home care visit.

The deposit is fully refundable if the appointment is canceled or rescheduled at
least 24 hours prior to the scheduled arrival time.

The deposit is non-refundable if the appointment is canceled less than 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival time.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances may arise that require you to cancel your care appointment. However, to maintain quality care for our clients, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:

1. Cancellation notice: Please provide a minimum of a 24 hour notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to adjust our schedule and offer the appointment time to another pet in need.

2. Cancellation fee: Appointments cancelled with less than a 24 hours notice will be subject to a non-refundable $100 cancellation fee/non-refundable deposit.

3. Payment of Cancellation Fee: A deposit of $50 is required to schedule an in-home appointment online. This deposit will be applied to all services and becomes n
on-refundable if an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of scheduled appointment.

4. Change of heart: If a client cancels an in home euthanasia appointment after the veterinarian has arrived at the home, a consultation fee of $275 will be charged. This fee is intended to cover the time, travel expenses, and professional resources involved to provide intended services.

 

No Bite Policy

Colorado Law requires that all animals that have bitten a human or another animal to be quarantined for 10 days or to be tested for rabies. In accordance of this law, Companion Crossroads cannot perform an in home euthanasia if the pet has bitten a human or another animal within the last 10 days of scheduled appointment. Behavioral euthanasia after the 10 day quarantine is available upon special request. Please contact your family veterinarian or animal services for other options within the 10 day quarantine window.
